it's about the USA Independence Day. It's a tradition to have a picnic/bbq with your family on this day. So we have the founding father with the Declaration of Independence get together for some bbq beer and fireworks. The joke is in the play on the most famous phrase in the Declaration - "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
